amd64 stable @x86: it blocks a security issue, please accelerate Am I doing something wrong here, or how is USE="usbredir" supposed to work!? ERROR ERROR: User requested feature usb-redir ERROR: configure was not able to find it ERROR qemu-kvm compiles fine with that USE-flag on amd64. Okok, I needed to get a newer version of sys-apps/usbredir to get USE=usbredir working. Now I'm stuck with USE="static sdl"... Even if libsdl is compiled with static-libs enabled, i just get ERROR ERROR: User requested feature sdl ERROR: configure was not able to find it ERROR That used to work with current stable qemu-kvm. USE=static is going to be questionable no matter what because a lot of Gentoo packages don't include static libraries and other components require shared objects, for example ALSA. Static on Gentoo is an ever evolving and moving target because a package might ship with static libraries one day and then a developer does a revbump and removes it. Do a stabilization test without USE=static. I've added a warning to the ebuild for users of USE=static. x86 stable, closing |
