There are a couple of bug reports for other distributions. a fix can be found here from debian: http://patch-tracker.debian.org/patch/series/view/swig2.0/2.0.7-3/pyint_fromsize_t.diff *** Bug 426734 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I can also confirm this is interfering with the deployment of SELinux userspace utilities (like libselinux), see bug #426734 (duplicate of this bug). Created attachment 319376 [details, diff]
Patch adding PyInt_FromSize
This is the mentioned upstream patch, prepared for use.
Just mention it in the ebuild' PATCHES=() array and you're all set.
Scheme doesn't have the manpower to maintain swig any more. Sven, Justin, would one of you like to take over maintenance? *** Bug 430176 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to comment #5) > Scheme doesn't have the manpower to maintain swig any more. Sven, Justin, > would one of you like to take over maintenance? I've added myself as a maintainer as well and this is now fixed in 2.0.7-r2. *** Bug 430140 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** For the record, upstream committed the patch for swig-2.0.8. http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=101645&aid=3541744&group_id=1645 |
