It also works with 21.4.15, copying as-is the 2.4.12 ebuild. I got it working (21.4.15) in four machines: o Athlon XP 2400+ o Pentium 4 1.8 GHz (laptop) o Pentium 3 1.3 GHz (laptop) o Pentium 2 800 MHz 21.4.15 is available in portage. Please close. Latest stable version of XEmacs is now available in portage (with several bug fixes). XEmacs 21.4.17 is now available. I was able to get it installed by copying xemacs-21.4.15-r2.ebuild to xemacs-21.4.17.ebuild. I'll attach the changed files. Created attachment 61422 [details]

This patch is only a couple of characters different from the previous one.
It goes in .../app-editors/xemacs/files.

My local patch, for completeness
This is a patch I wrote to work around a font problem. It also lives in
.../files.
I should mention, I commented out one patch entirely (quick-fix.patch) that failed to apply. That's because it seemed to be related to the powerpc architecture, which I don't use. |
