Read GLSA 201207-02 today and thought to myself, why not go forward to 2.8.0-r1 immediately on our server...


libxml2-2.8.0-r1 works without any issues on my other system already.

Because it will be stabilized on next gnome* maintained packages stabilization round, that will include this and a ton of new versions
