I, and some others in the forums, are having a problem with khelpcenter taking a minute or longer to load.  If I run it from the command-line, I get the warning "khelpcenter: WARNING: Main template file name is empty." 
khelpcenter is from kdebase-3.2.0

There seems to be a bug (and fix) for this at bugs.kde.org, it's bug number http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62097

fyi, should be fixed in kde 3.2.1

Just installed KDE 3.2.1 and this issue seems to have been fixed.
