I agree, but we better let the amd64 team decide. We have a mailing list? Fine for me. But the final decision is by lead(s) @amd64 lead(s): ping since, nobody cares about it, I'd say to go ahead. It's unfortunate that the ML as of late has mostly been users asking questions and not something of more substance, but just because we have become the defacto standard arch doesn't mean we can just take over a distro-wide ML. If someone wants to police our ML and refer posters to -user or -project or whatever then that fine, but we still need to retain our own list for amd64 specific usage. Ping, do we still want this to go away? Not at this time. |
