There is no qemu-kvm 1.1 release yet. Due to regressions in qemu upstream's code breaking qemu-kvm tests (these are real failures causing real problems).

I would not recommend using qemu 1.1 unless we start back porting fixes and applying some of the non-upstream approved patches like some cutting edge distros have done.
