I screwed up the use stuff, don't ask me why, I do feel stupid.
I think we should update our OpenAL to this latest version. If we need to, I'll create a new "snapshot" ebuild and submit it to the tree. This version of OpenAL fixes problems with the VoIP in Unreal Tournament 2004, and honestly, the version we currently have in portage is unusable due to its age. Chris, could you prepare the snapshot. I don't use openal, so I can't really test it out. Since you use it, if you want to take maintainership of openal, feel free to add yourself to the metadata.xml file I just added. Added to CVS and marked myself as the maintainer |
