Package net-firewall/fwbuilder-5.0.1.3592 (recently marked stable for amd64) and earlier versions fail to compile under gcc-4.7.0.  The reason for the failure is shared among several other packages and well understood.

I'm attempting to follow the instructions reported in the URL below, but some of the steps appear to require a privileged Bugzilla account:

Please add this package as blocker/dependency to bug 390247 for GCC Porting tracking purposes (as requesed in above URL aboved).

The attached patch fixes the compilation failure.

In the interim users can drop the patch in /etc/portage/patches/net-firewall/fwbuilder-5.0.1.3592 (dir) and epatch_user will automatically apply it.
