I think it would require only a minor update to the ebuild script
so that installing Opera would put it in the KDE menu (yes, I can
put it there myself, but it belongs there by default).

Actual Results:  
No Opera item on the KDE menu (Internet section).

Expected Results:  
It should show up. It seems the Opera install file tries
to put it there, but does it wrong.

which version are you talking about?

it works here (category internet), which version did you try?
