Well don't do that. Many unix programs have the someway valid assumption that time only goes forward. Make is one of them. For this reason most time managing programs (like ntpd) do not actually set the time, they change how fast the clock goes and in such a way aim to get the time correct. There is not much to do about this as not change the time of the computer. |
