dev-php/phpunit-3.5.13 emerges properly but will fail to run.  Instead, it will produce output such as:

The solution is to unmask phpunit and emerge version 3.6.0, which is compatible with File_Iterator-1.3.1

dev-php/phpunit3.5.13 works fine with dev-php/File_Iterator-1.2.6, which happened to be removed 09 Jun 2012 according to the ChangeLog.

Proposed EBuild for dev-php/File_Iterator-1.2.6

If dev-php/phpunit-3.6.0 can't be stabilized for some reason, adding back the original dev-php/File_Iterator-1.2.6.ebuild (or the attached proposed ebuild) and having dev-php/phpunit-3.5.13 RDEPEND on it would allow phpunit to run as expected.

This is actually a combination of two dependency issues:

1. PHPUnit 3.5.x depends on PHP_CodeCoverage < 1.1. This is known, but PHP 3.5 is EOL, so no upstream fix[1].
2. PHP_CodeCoverage 1.0.x depends on File_Iterator < 1.3. I submitted a patch upstream, it was accepted, but never released[2].

Future versions of phpunit will be distributed using the phar file so that we do not have to deal with this dependency nonsense anymore.
