Hello, Rhythmbox has had a version bump, with new features & bugfixes. Should be easy if its being compiled with xine-lib, otherwise gstreamer 0.7.4 needs to be installed. (Which I think is still not in portage either.)

to quote the release notes that we have already recieved :

I'm very happy to announce the first release in the Rhythmbox
development series.  Rhythmbox will start using a versioning scheme
similar to GNOME and Linux, where odd-numbered releases are development,
and even are stable.  

So again, this is a *development* release.

Yep ,development release.   No go.
