Current Gentoo minimal installation CD's are missing libpopt.so that is needed by cryptsetup.

I'm getting the following message when I try to start cryptsetup:

cryptsetup: error while loading shared libraries: libpopt.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

CD-images tested:
- install-amd64-minimal-20120510.iso 
- install-amd64-minimal-20120517.iso

Steps to reproduce:
(1) download and burn current amd64 minimal live-cd
(2) boot from cd
(3) run cryptsetup
