Currently, media-gfx/nip2 unconditionally installs large number of files into /usr/share/nip2. Some of these may not be necessary, depending on user's needs.

* /usr/share/nip2/compat - support for operating on workspaces from previous versions (if I understand the purpose correctly)
* /usr/share/nip2/data/examples - examples

I suggest installing these directories according to USE=compat and USE=examples. USE=compat should be probably on by default.
