emerge -pv cyrus-sasl These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating dependencies ...done! [ebuild R ] dev-libs/cyrus-sasl-2.1.14 +berkdb +gdbm -java -kerberos -ldap +mysql +pam +ssl -static 0 kB Total size of downloads: 0 kB I don't see this issue on my version. Niels this is really confusing; can you elaborate a bit? /etc/conf.d is for Gentoo init script configuration. saslauthd wouldn't want to look there. This isn't what you're talking about, is it?
