Description Tomasz Golinski 2012-05-14 13:25:59 UTC
Gkrellm support NVidia binary drivers temperature via nvclock or nvidia-sensors but there was no support for ATI binary drivers. I found this patch from ALTLinux and brought it up-to-date. It works on my machine with Radeon 6770.

It would be nice to have this patch in portage as well.

Reproducible: Always

Hi, is this still valid for gkrellm-2.3.11?
Comment 3 Tomasz Golinski 2023-01-10 13:35:15 UTC
I didn't try it with current gkrellm version. In principle it should work, but I think it is now obsolete. If I remember correctly it was supposed to work with old ATI fglrx drivers which are no longer in the tree.

Currently ATI/AMD GPUs provide sensors in the normal way via lm_sensors framework and gkrellm supports it without the patch.
