Bug 415457

Summary: sci-electronics/systemc-2.2.0-r2 is broken
Product: Gentoo Linux Reporter: Ole Christensen <Ole.Christensen>
Component: New packagesAssignee: The Soldering-Iron Brotherhood <sci-electronics>
Status: RESOLVED FIXED

Description Ole Christensen 2012-05-11 08:13:41 UTC
sci-electronics/systemc-2.2.0-r2 fails to install. The configure script is called with CXX=x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-g++ but the package's configure script accepts g++ only(!). This needs to be reverted as to in revision systemc-2.2.0-r1.

Second issue: when I try to install with CXX="g++" emerge... the install phase fails due to sandbox violation. E.g. like this:

F: unlink
S: deny
P: /usr/include/sysc/kernel/sc_wait_cthread.h
A: /usr/include/sysc/kernel/sc_wait_cthread.h
R: /usr/include/sysc/kernel/sc_wait_cthread.h
C: /usr/bin/install -c -m 644 ./sc_wait_cthread.h /usr/include/sysc/kernel/sc_wait_cthread.h

I am not that familiar with portage as to have a solution for this.

Thanks, Ole
