Created attachment 311363 [details, diff] RedHat's virtio-scsi patch Fedora's qemu-kvm package reintroduces scsi support through virtio-scsi support. Their patch applies cleanly to app-emulation/qemu-kvm-1.0.1. It works well in my testing, so I propose introducing it in app-emulation/qemu-kvm-1.0.1-r1.
