I use squid for web caching at home, and an up-to-date ebuild would be great!

Also, I second bug number 35757, I'd like the --enable-underscores option enabled in the regular ebuild.  Without it, squid puts a limit on web browsing that doesn't exist in other standard internet software (such as BIND and Mozilla).

Stable5 is in portage now.

--enable-underscores has also been added.
