It seems me that the unison problem is connected with larger files (>400KB). At the current test unison find that about 25 files should be copied from "lynx" to "moose". 18 have been small about 1KB and two with more than 4OOKB. After some seconds unison hangs, showing that about 17 files are copied with 100% , but still without the green angle. Some files does not show any transfer, and the both 'large' files show some percent (<10%). If I look at the target computer for the incomplete transfered files, I see: root@moose:/home/rose(42)# find Txt -name .uni\* | wc 17 17 1649 I kill unison and run it again. Now I skip the two large files. The rest is copied without problems. I restart the scanning for files to transfer inside of unison. Unison shows me as expected the two large files. I mark the second for skipping. Unison hangs immediatly, if it tries to transfer the first file. It seems, that not any byte reached the target computer: root@moose:/home/rose(45)# find Txt -name .uni\* | wc 0 0 0 I kill again unison, repeat the file transfer, but mark the first file for skipping, now the second file is transferred. I rescan in unison, one file is shown and now this file is also transferred without problems. ping! I suppose this bug is a duplicate of Bug Bug 414401. Could it be this item in the changelog? Fixed incompatibility with OpenSSH 5.6. http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison/download/releases/beta/unison-manual.html#news Give unison-2.40.65 a try, which was just added into the tree. |
