I'm having the same issue. I haven't tested Kscd, but I know JuK and Noatun do not work. Interestingly, JuK and Noatun don't exit with an error. They may be working properly, except they don't make any sound. This is happening on my system as well. Neither noatun nor JuK produce any sound. Kaboodle does work, however, as do system sounds. I'll check to see if this is resolved in KDE 3.2.1, but there's no mention of it in the release notes/changelog. Still doesn't work in KDE 3.2.1 .... Created attachment 27920 [details, diff]

JuK and Noatun work fine with this new ebuild here. Plz add to CVS. Already got the ebuild updated in my CVS checkout (only patches for amd64 in my ebuild)... Mind if I commit it? okay to commit - please keep the version number the same, or if you do bump, please only specify "amd64" as the architecture. done. amd64 users should remerge arts 1.2.1, since I didn't version bump just for an arch-specific patch. Also, already submitted patch upstream to bugs.kde.o... |
