Here's a patch for mplayer2 to fix building with USE="live", from arch linux bug report here: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/28759

I have confirmed successful build on media-video/mplayer2-2.0_p20120309 but have not tested with actual live media playback.

Live support droped from the ebuild, libav/ffmpeg provide same functionality anyway :)
