Description Dustin C. Hatch 2012-05-01 01:32:56 UTC
The latest ebuild of fcron currently marked as stable, 3.0.6-r1, has a fairly problematic bug (#332901). The -r2 version fixes this, but it is marked ~arch, so new builds of stable systems have no working `cron.*` directories.

Reproducible: Always

any news?
Comment 2 Dustin C. Hatch 2012-11-23 05:24:42 UTC
Is something blocking stablization of this ebuild? I just put together a new system today and realized this ebuild is still ~arch and the latest stable one is still broken. For things like logrotate that install scripts in /etc/cron.*, this is a problem.

Let's aim towards having 3.1.1 stabilized instead since it also introduces other fixes and support for systemd.
