I was trying to bump this with the new jruby, but the problem that Jruby was showing is more complex than expected.

The problem is this code:

-      begin
-        Iconv.iconv(to, from, value).first
-      rescue Iconv::Failure
-        value
-      end

on all kind of failures, it seems to pass-through and that I think shouldn't happen at all....

It's not clear to me what the problem is here, this version is no longer in the tree, and all tests pass on ruby-mp3info-0.8.4.
