It appears that "hfaxd" is not configured to listen to correct port. According to: lsof | grep hfaxd "hfaxd" is listening on: hfaxd 4988 uucp 3u IPv4 916017 0t0 TCP localhost.localdomain:hylafax (LISTEN) and it should be: "*:hylafax" hfaxd 3969 uucp 4u IPv4 5939 0t0 TCP *:hylafax (LISTEN) file: /usr/lib/fax/hfaxd.conf does not contain any parameters how to define port for hfaxd How do I correct it? Lee Howard is pointing me to: http://hylafax.sourceforge.net/man/hfaxd.php hfaxd -f -l and -i options but I can not find any referece to these options in: /usr/lib/fax/hfaxd.conf besides this file is identical like the one old hylafax had so it must be something else or specific to Gentoo setup. In: /etc/conf.d/hylafaxplus # Address used by hfaxd as binding address. faxbind="127.0.0.1" I think it should be: faxbind="*" The strange part is the old hylafax setting had: faxbind="127.0.0.1" and everything was working. what is the status of this with 5.5.5? |
