Check /var/cache/edb/virtuals, the virtual/linux-sources line. Make sure no *-sources that are no longer installed are in that line. So, are you saying I should take out all entries from that line that were once on my system, but aren't now? It reads: virtual/linux-sources sys-kernel/development-sources sys-kernel/openmosix-sources sys-kernel/mm-sources sys-kernel/gentoo-sources sys-kernel/gaming-sources sys-kernel/gs-sources sys-kernel/pfeifer-sources But the only packages I still have installed are from development-sources. You should only have sources currently installed on that line, in addition to "virtual/linux-sources" Portage bug, don't remember the # Alright, well that fixes my problem, so I guess this is a duplicate of whatever that bug is. If someone can track down the number, I'll close this one. ;) This is probably a dup of the bug about not removing linux-sources virtuals, could someone who remembers mark it so please? I have development-sources-2.6.5 installed, but the ati-drivers ">=virtual-sources-2.4" tries to pull in aa-sources-2.4.23-... I'd love to read the Portage bug regarding this because ISTM that having devel-source-2.6.5 installed should satisfy that dependancy, no? Well, no-one's dug up whatever this was a dup of, so I'm just closing it. |
