kvirc-3.0.0_beta1.ebuild
I was just testing it myself. The interesting thing about it, which makes us introduce a ebuild for a beta into portage, is that it compiles with gcc-3.x while the previous release ('xmas' 3.0.0 preview) doesn't (bug #3801). The ebuild I made has several advantages over your submitted one. Mainly it's an inheriting ebuild which works with kde-base (but still has optional kde support). I still need to test it without kde support and with/without some other use flag-dependant config options, then I'll commit it. I would love to have KVIRC back on my gcc-3 system, even if it's beta. (sick and tired of BitchX) Committed. Note: no automatic update by portage will be done because the old ebuild was (mistakenly) given a version number of 3.0.0 (it was actually a prerelease) and the new one has a version number of 3.0.0_beta1. However I've removed the old ebuild, so the new one will be the default one. |
