ERROR: dev-php/mod_php-4.3.4-r4 failed. !!! Function econf, Line 365, Exitcode 1 !!! econf failed revdep-rebuild will solve this, or attach config.log and i'll tell you just what to rebuild. please attach long output like this in future, and not paste all of it in. no response from user, closing. I had the same problem as E Smith. The problem turned out to be QT's dependance on libGL. I'm not entirely sure why, but this is a common problem for NVidia users. The solution is to export LDFLAGS="-lGL", then re-emerge. This solved the problem for me. Verify for yourself if this is your problem by checking: /var/tmp/portage/mod_php-4.3.4/work/php-4.3.4/config.log At the endof of the file you may see stuff like this: /usr/qt/3/lib/libqt.so: undefined reference to `glXDestroyContext@LIBGL' /usr/qt/3/lib/libqt.so: undefined reference to `glXIsDirect@LIBGL' ... etc, etc ... If youdo, it's a GL related problem and the above solution should fix ya up. I've experienced the same bug. I tried: revdep-rebuild; emerge mod_php and export LDFLAGS="-lGL"; emerge mod_php both resulted in the same error as the original poster. |
