the sun-jdk-1.5.0_beta1 package requires j2sdk-1_5_0-beta-bin-b31-linux-i586-11_dec_2003.bin, which was the filename for the pre-alpha release of JDK 1.5. The real beta 1 is out now at http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp.

This isn't a duplicate of bug 40450, this bug report is that what is labelled as beta1 ebuild is actually not beta1, but pre-alpha.

I think the value of "At" variable should be replaced with "j2sdk-1_5_0-beta-linux-i586.bin". 
And the digest file needs regeneration.
