reiserfsprogs-3.6.12 refuses to check a read only mounted root filesystem at the moment. This breaks the gentoo boot process.

Please don't mark this ebuild as stable for now. I'll update the bug, when vitaly@reiser.. answer about this problem.

Vitaly from the reiserfs team provide a patch for this bug. I tested it on my system, this fix the problem for me.

I attached the ebuild and the patch file.

Sorry for the bug! I should reboot my system more frequently..

About to commit 3.6.12-r1, no need to post bugs about releases, I monitor it, and am (as you probably noted from the reiserfs list) on the list and communicate with vitaly as needed.
