Please check out the conversion result at http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=proj/vmware.git;a=summary .

If the result is sufficient already next steps are:
1) Update entry in layman
2) Disable/remove/hide SVN counterpart

Description is not what I asked."vmware-server and vmware-server-console ebuilds" are a legacy ebuilds and I plan to delete them really soon. You can replase quoted text with "vmware desktop ebuilds".
Everything else looks good. Thanks.

Updated to "VMware desktop ebuilds" now.
