List of packages to be stabilized, v1
KDE 4.8.1 is in the tree since 2012/03/06, and as testing will for sure take some more days... Arches please do your magic. No special instructions this time. :) The detailed targets are in the comments in the attached file (summarized, dependencies and KDE: amd64, ppc, x86; applications: amd64, x86). If the tests phase fails somewhere, please file a bug or leave a message on IRC (should not happen but you never know). We'll either fix or restrict the tests of the affected package then, in any case it should not be a stable blocker. Hi, emerge complains if I use the keyword list on my amd64 system: #required by kde-base/kdelibs-4.8.1-r2, required by kde-base/kdeartwork-sounds-4.8.1, required by kde-base/kdeartwork-meta-4.8.1, required by kde-base/kde-meta-4.8.1, required by @selected, required by @world (argument) =sys-auth/polkit-qt-0.103.0 ~amd64 Created attachment 307187 [details]

Thanks, =sys-auth/polkit-qt-0.103.0 added to stable list.
Tested on amd64 works fine. Only addition I did was add =media-gfx/qrencode-3.2.0 I added this to the list of packages that is stored in the kde git repo. on amd64 builds fine *** Bug 410287 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Created attachment 307735 [details]
List of packages to be stabilized, v3
- Adds =media-gfx/qrencode-3.2.0
- Newer revision for nepomuk (=kde-base/nepomuk-4.8.1-r1) contains performance patch from upstream.
Just Kde-4.8.2 has been released: http://www.kde.org/announcements/changelogs/changelog4_8_1to4_8_2.php Look at that long list of fixed issues! Such list normally is much shorter for a kde point release... They just wrote changelog this time, commit wise and bugs wise it is same as every point release. amd64 stable Created attachment 307813 [details]

x86: build very well. I compile and run it on real x86 machine. Actual result: ALL without problem I can't reproduce any bugs. Please mark stable on x86. I've found a few things during the testing on x86: kwin Bug #411475 smokekde Bug #411489 zanshin Bug #411491 kile Bug #411495 (this one is no regression) (In reply to comment #15) > I've found a few things during the testing on x86: > > kwin Bug #411475 > smokekde Bug #411489 > zanshin Bug #411491 > kile Bug #411495 (this one is no regression) I can't reproduce x86 stable, thanks Mikle and Andreas Thank you all. We will continue with KDE SC 4.8.3 see bug #414605. |
