Terminal log from the firefox session

I found a similar bug dating from 2009 but is is closed: #262999

The thing is when opening PDF files in www-client/firefox-10.0.1-r1 using app-text/acroread-9.4.7 through www-plugins/nspluginwrapper-1.4.4-r1 on amd64, I get a blank page in I try to open a new PDF tab after closing previously open PDF tabs.

If I close no tabs, then everything seems OK.

The blank tab is due to FF being defunct. I can see this in my system before and after closing them:

=== Before closing any FF tab with an open PDF ===
$ ps aux | grep acro
user 4055 4.5 2.6 185284 107052 pts/8 Sl+ 13:09 0:03 /opt/Adobe/Reader9/Reader/intellinux/bin/acroread --display :0 -progressPipe 3 -exitPipe 4
user 4128 0.0 0.0 8636 904 pts/7 S+ 13:11 0:00 grep --colour=auto acro

=== After closing tabs with open PDF's ===
$ ps aux | grep acro
user 4055 3.4 0.0 0 0 pts/8 Z+ 13:09 0:05 [acroread] <defunct>
user 4137 0.0 0.0 8636 904 pts/7 R+ 13:12 0:00 grep --colour=auto acro

The log from the launching of FF in a terminal is in the firefox-in-terminal.txt attachment.

Oops! I made a mistake. I meant acroread being defunct.

Please check if you still have this problem with acroread-9.5.4 and reopen if necessary
