Created attachment 307411 [details, diff] Patch to Makefile.in,builtins/Makefile.in to respect $LDFLAGS_FOR_BUILD I encountered the same problem. The attached patch changes Makefile.in and builtins/Makefile.in to use $LDFLAGS_FOR_BUILD when building targets that use $CC_FOR_BUILD and $CCFLAGS_FOR_BUILD. With this patch, I can build to completion. This bug is different from bug #378941. That bug discusses the proper value for $LDFLAGS_FOR_BUILD. This bug discusses the failure to specify $LDFLAGS_FOR_BUILD (or any other $LDFLAGS-type options) for some targets. |
