you have to build nautilus with 'gstreamer' in USE. Thanks that appears to have done the trick. Interesting the first time I installed gnome on gentoo (in december 03) the preview worked, ie nautilus must have been compiled with gstreamer support. However after a brand new install it wasn't! Its fixed now, Bug closed, resolved as invalid well actually the unpatched gstreamer nautilus works a bit different, but supports fewer soundformats. It should work, but this is a faster and better solution. |
