I don't know whether this is the appropriate forum, but adding

TERM st
TERM st-256color

to dircolors.hin

would be of interest to users of x11-terms/st. Either that or fix 
/etc/bash/bashrc to perhaps have an easier way to override not setting colours.

the upstream coreutils list is for requesting coreutils updates

/etc/bash/bashrc already has a trivial way for users to do their own thing.  use ~/.dir_colors.
