Seems like upstream don't want to fix that: http://redmine.lighttpd.net/issues/2421 & http://redmine.lighttpd.net/boards/3/topics/5552 Not sure if this should keep 407091 blocking... Support for Lua 5.2 and 5.3 added in 1.4.40 (https://redmine.lighttpd.net/versions/41 https://redmine.lighttpd.net/issues/2674) Since this is fixed in 1.4.40 and I'm working on getting 1.4.40 and 1.4.41 in tree, I'll mark this as IN_PROGRESS. (In reply to Daniel Campbell from comment #3) > Since this is fixed in 1.4.40 and I'm working on getting 1.4.40 and 1.4.41 > in tree, I'll mark this as IN_PROGRESS. Scratch that. 1.4.42 is scheduled for October and upstream has suggested that as a stable target. 1.4.42 is now in Gentoo git. I tested the build with USE="lua" and it appears to work. Please test and confirm. Adding the InVCS keyword for now. As original reporter, I have to comment :) Compilation is fine here too, but I do not use lighttpd anymore, so I can not say more about it in usage lighttpd 1.4.42 is now stable (1.4.45 being the next stable target), closing. |
