patch to prevent segfault
I'm using this patch as a workaround (I have no idea what mp->priv->audio_sink really is or how bad it is that it is NULL, so not sure if this really solves the whole problem). I still sometimes need to click a stream/song twice before it actually starts playing, but at least it doesn't segfault anymore it seems
Still valid with 2.96? In that case please report this to upstream -> bugzilla.gnome.org Bug still exists in 2.96, so I reported upstream at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=673415 (In reply to comment #4) > Bug still exists in 2.96, so I reported upstream at > https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=673415 Have you tested 2.97? Sorry for the (very) late response, I've been running 2.97 for a while now and I haven't run into this problem for a long time, I think it's been fixed - I don't have to use the workaround patch anymore. Thanks for feedback! :) |
