We don't make any changes to the source code except to support 'ip' instead of 'ifconfig'. The issue is known upstream: http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/ddclient/ticket/14 why is this resolved/wontfix just because it's known upstream? this bug is supposed to stay open until it's fixed upstream and then set to resolved/upstream afaik. also it's marked upstream as a blocker, so I don't see how any 3.8.1 release would be stable. updated importance to "blocker" according to upstream ticket #14. not resolved upstream, same state as before. Please test ddclient-3.8.2. meanwhile my setup has changed (from ppp dialup to ipv6 router), so I can't test this anylonger. Well, one of the notes mentioned multiple use parameters. It should be fixed, but I can't test it either. |
