The bug was fixed quite a while a go. Did you change .config _before_ or _after_ mc was started? And, can you paste 'mc --version' output here? Today i can't provice 'mc --version'. I created file .config before i start mcedit (not mc). (In reply to comment #2) > Today i can't provice 'mc --version'. I created file .config before i start > mcedit (not mc). Ah, no need to. I've reproduced it here as well. Will look at it. Thanks! Hopefully fixed upstream and pushed to the tree as: > *mc-4.8.2 (20 Mar 2012) > > Version bump. Don't require user to choose from ncurses/slang (bug #353679 by > Ulrich Müller and others); use slang by default as less buggy implementation. > New release among others fixes crash when ~/.config is not a dir (bug #406315 > by Marcin Mirosław). Please, check if it fixes the issue for you and reopen if it does not. Thanks for the detailed report, Marcin! Thanks, works correctly now, can't reproduce segfault. There is new issue with mceedit, i fill new bug;) (In reply to comment #5) > Thanks, works correctly now, can't reproduce segfault. > There is new issue with mceedit, i fill new bug;) Heh, thanks for testing and catching another one! I'll pass that one to upstream as well. |
