nut 2.6.3 was released on January 4, 2012 and fixes bug: 390119 .  I was able to copy the 2.6.2 ebuild to 2.6.3 and compile without any errors.

This deserves a little more than a simple version bump: there is a new automagic about avahi.

The diff attached adds a USE flag for this.
Beside this change, the 2.6.3 works fine for me, using the blazer_usb driver.
Moreover, this also fixes the build when python3 is the active python VM
