In groupadd's manpage there is the following sentence: "Group names may only be up to characters long". A number is missing before "characters".

seems to be fixed already in 4.1.5

$ grep 'up to' shadow-4.1.5/man/groupadd.8
Groupnames may only be up to 16 characters long\&.
