I think those restrictions are there for good reasons, so you will probably need to adjust your USE flags. Why then am I compelled to have dynamic zone loading (dlz) described as a third party extension? It seems pointless to have a USE flag if one is compelled to have it set - get rid of the use flag altogether would surely be appropriate? I really do think this should be looked at a bit harder before dismissing it out of hand. bind needs dlz for berkdb and caps for threads support. If you need those features then you have to enable the required use-deps as well. |
