Description Jean-François Gagnon Laporte 2004-02-04 08:07:20 UTC
As of right now, the amd64 platform is gaining popularity and we are beginning to take a lot of place in this section. It would be more useful to have a dedicated section for problems and other things like announcements. With the price drops and greater availability of the amd64 platform (plus x86-32 backward compatibility) we are seeing more and more people in this section.

I have also started a thread if the users were interested too. (http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?p=833894#833894) If needed be, I can be a moderator in this section to help maintain it. I have already done this in many forums so I know most of the routine.

I think I have covered it all. Let me know what you think :).
