Um, this is taking it a bit too far. If you made it your project to go through the entire tree to look for packages that do not honour LINGUAS, you're going about it the wrong way. Stop filing these bugs now or only file them for packages you show a clear personal interest for. If you take a look into the source tarball, you will see that the only .po files are de, es and nl.po. So, you you want another language, feel free to contribute to the software. For me, the LINGUAS is working fine with this software and emerge. I have the following into /etc/make.conf: LINGUAS="en es fr sv" and I get: equery f sci-electronics/geda-xgsch2pcb | grep 'locale.*mo' /usr/share/locale/es/LC_MESSAGES/geda-xgsch2pcb.mo (In reply to comment #2) > If you take a look into the source tarball, you will see that the only .po > files are de, es and nl.po. With LINGUAS="en de" only the 'de' files gets installed. If LINGUAS does not contain any of the above emntioned languages, there are no .mo files installed at all. |
