There is no ebuild for PDF::API2. I believe this would go in the category dev-perl/PDF-API2.

You can build pretty much any Perl module from CPAN, by using the command:
g-cpan.pl Module::Name
E.g. g-cpan.pl PDF::API2

I'm not sure if that's actually documented anywhere, though.
Also, just a side note: Attachments should be plain text if possible. :)
Just a random, but-trying-to-be-helpful comment. :)
Comment 3 Haroon Rafique 2004-02-03 14:58:21 UTC
Didn't know about g-cpan.pl at all. qpkg -f -v /usr/bin/g-cpan.pl shows it is part of sys-apps/portage-2.0.50_pre21. Oh, well!

Sorry about attaching the .bz2. I figured since I was going to post 2 ebuilds (one new, one old version) and the Manifest and the digest I might as well use .bz2. Will be careful in the future.
Comment 4 Eric Sammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-04 10:08:59 UTC
As Wayne said in comment #2, perl modules that aren't in portage may be installed using g-cpan. Perl modules are only added to portage if they fill a dependency of another application. Thanks for the submission anyway!
