Note since yesterday KDE SC 4.8.1 is in tree. Keyword request is valid for this too.
Comment 2 Brent Baude (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-03-12 17:51:11 UTC
Is there a list?

Following keywords in KDE 4.8 were dropped and exists in KDE 4.7.
Comment 4 Markus Meier gentoo-dev 2012-03-31 17:06:53 UTC
~arm restored.
Comment 5 Franz Trischberger 2012-04-01 12:48:47 UTC
Could kdelibs-4.8.1-r1 be replaced with -r2 in the list? It just adds the patch for the crash in Sonnet::Hightlighter, so should not be critical.

">=" means r2 too.

Cleaned up list. Without arm and x86-fbsd as they are restored.
Comment 8 Andreas K. Hüttel archtester gentoo-dev 2012-05-01 21:52:25 UTC
According to Scarabeus ppc needs gcc-4.7 ...
Comment 9 Ryan Hill (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-05-02 03:04:03 UTC
What? Why?
Comment 10 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-05-02 05:16:32 UTC
I'm not sure if this is what he's referring to, but qt-assistant-4.7.4 doesn't compile correctly with gcc-4.5.3, it gets stuck in the testing phase on ppc64 (even in a ppc32 chroot). It seems to work okay on my G4 though.

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to narrow it down further or test other versions of gcc/qt-assistant.
Comment 11 Ryan Hill (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-05-02 23:44:18 UTC
Okay. I'll see if there's something we can backport. I don't expect 4.7 to be unmasked for quite a while.

Keyword request list updated to >=kde-base/*-4.8.3 as it is the next stable candidate.

Marked ~ppc/~ppc64. Closing since we're the last arches.
