Um, this is taking it a bit too far. If you made it your project to go through the entire tree to look for packages that do not honour LINGUAS, you're going about it the wrong way. Stop filing these bugs now or only file them for packages you show a clear personal interest for. Fixed, thanks! libgpg-error-1.10-r1 Please remove this unnecessary IUSE_LINGUAS usage, as it is not necessary. It worked just fine before, so this bug was INVALID in my opinion. Perhaps libgpg-error hadn't been ever re-emerged after a stage3 install where LINGUAS is unset and all translations were instaled. libgpg-error-1.10.ebuild automatically filters out undesired LINGUAS fine without any of the blind IUSE_LINGUAS code that is hooked up to NOTHING in the ebuild no for 1.10-r1 and 1.11 Please revert the unneeded IUSE_EXPAND stuff, thanks. in the ebuild now for 1.10-r1 and 1.11* The point is, that IUSE_EXPAND for LINGUAS should only be used when it is for downloading extra language packs, not for standard gettext automatic behaviour of honoring the env var. I added this as it did not work without it, on my system, and I checked using external environment, and I confirmed there was an issue. I can confirm that now it is working without, but something must had been changed. Anyway, I am glad to remove unneeded code. |
