ago, we need more information because I've never seen grep hit an rwx mmap. Can you give me emerge --info grep and what kernel version you're using. Portage 2.1.10.44 (hardened/linux/x86, gcc-4.4.5, glibc-2.13-r4, 3.1.5-gentoo i686)
